Immersion Composition Society Session Sunday 12 April, 2020

Second composition of the day.

I planned to write a ballad about the great Pandemics of the last 2,000 years based on this great article: www.newyorker.com/magazine/2020/04/06/pandemics-and-the-shape-of-human-history

Inspired by a month in quarantine in Seattle to avoid getting Novel Corona Virus 2019- 2120, Trump's insanity & bellicose belligerence, bleak statistics of death first in New York, now Detroit & New Orleans too.

E Pluribus Unum (out of many, one) never sounded more sinister.
A family member is on her way out, and there are 3 deaths from COVID-19 in my zip code as of yesterday.
