about

Words and music by Amy Denio.
My mother had her gall bladder removed. As she came to after the operation, the surgeon came in with a cup full of her gall stones. Anyone want this? My mom & sister & brother-in-law said in unison: 'Amy!'. A strange box came by mail a few weeks later.

lyrics

Gall stones fall down from a life of ire
Reform the lyre on the funeral pyre
Gall stones tablets of seethed moments writ in stone
Minerals of anger, etched and sketched and honed
