about to start the day composing 20 songs when the phone rang.
My friend Meg asked me on a walk. I said no, I'm gonna compose now. She told me the story of walking her dog on Alki Beach, it found something perfect in the sand and was love-nuzzling in the sand.
Meg came up and realized it was a dead seal, unburied. The dog was loving that dead seal like nothing else, rubbing herself all over, hella stink of death.
Meg took her dog to the hammam (bath), and laughed. Seal love.
The dog was out of its mind with seal love.

From a love of taking long walks and
nuzzling the sweet scent of a seal who sailed on
