about

Thanks to a successful crowd-funding campaign, the Tiptons Sax Quartet met in Seattle in January, 2020 to rehearse, perform and record these 11 new songs for Wabi Sabi, their 14th Album.
You can download it here.

The CD and LP will be available in 2021.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the campaign!!!

This project is testament of the human willpower to survive obstacles
when on a creative path. One by one the sax players all came down with a severe case of the flu with high fevers and extreme lung infections;
similar symptoms as the very contagious virus COVID-19.

While battling this virus, they recorded and overdubbed and mixed all
tracks in 6 days.
